Crafts | Homemade Rice Packs

Hi! It's Lily! Today I'll be showing you how to make rice packs. Rice packs can be used for many things. Cold packs are very good if you have a sprain. They help with pain and cut down on swelling. Hot packs are great if you have an ache or sore muscles. If you'd like to make your own, make sure you have the following items: A pair of old socks (make sure they don't have any holes) Rice A sewing machine (or something to stitch up the top with) 2 rubber bands  Scissors (use with sewing machine) Let's get started! First start off by labeling one sock HOT and one sock COLD. You'll be making both of them, but I'm going to use the cold pack as my example. Once you've finished labeling them, decorate! Make them as crazy or simple as you want them to be! I wrote my name on mine.  Next you're going to fold over the top of the sock (above picture) and get your rice ready.  Time to fill them up!
